Introduction

This cosy holiday home (100m2) in Viana do Castelo, at only 1,5km. from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, in the north of Portugal, is furnished and decorated in a typical Portuguese style. Most of the visitors of this area are Portuguese, so there are very few foreign tourist around, even in the high season. In the summertime the corn grows so high in the fields around the house, that it feels as if you are the only one in the neighbourhood. There is a lot of space in the garden for children to play, as well as in the attic, where there's a big children's playroom. The way to the beach leads through the little village of Amorosa, with its nice cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities. The capital of northern Portugal, Porto, is only at a one hours drive (76km.). The beautiful Costa Verde is well worth exploring, as is the river Douro.
