Accommodation

So expert has been the restoration, with many of the original artefacts and features being maintained, this house has an individual character of timeless calm. The main entrance opens into the long living room with exposed stone walls, ten seater solid oak dining table, feature fireplace, Satellite TV with BBC, DVD player and comfortable seating area. The well fitted kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, electric oven/gas hob, fridge/freezer, breakfast area and side door to a covered dining terrace. The first bedroom has twin beds and full bath/shower room adjacent. The impressive staircase leads upto the galleried landing, with space for two extra beds if required, and has direct access to the upper sun terrace with fine views. Bedroom number two has twin beds and is decorated with attractive pastel coloured walls. The very attractive master double bedroom has an adjacent complete bath/shower room and private sun terrace with far reaching mountain views. The fourth bedroom has recently been added and has twin beds with en-suite bath/shower room. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Laundry area with washing machine. Designed for summer living Finca Bennassar has 1m thick exterior stone walls and earthen terracotta tiles certainly helping to provide a cooler feel to the house during the hot summers. Available all year with electric wall mounted radiators.
Note: The air conditioning is on a timer for ten hours daily. If you wish to change the hours set please contact your local representative. Extra air conditioning MAY be available on request and is payable locally.

Surroundings

Set in an almond grove the 13m oval shaped swimming with waterfall effect has child friendly steps, spaciously furnished sun terraces and good sized grassed area for children to play on. A very special feature of Finca Bennassar is the front cobblestone terrace with an ancient well feature and centuries old algarobbe tree providing welcome shade. Just sit here in the evening and listen to the migrating birds whist enjoying an evening cocktail before dining on a delicious meal cooked on the stone BBQ. A truly wonderful Mallorcan Farmhouse and highly recommended. The old Roman town of Pollenca is a few minutes drive and has a wide range of restaurants and tapas bars, beautiful plaza, cobbled streets and interesting boutiques.
